Meeting of the Writing Group

The Writing Group will meet on Wednesday, May 10th, 2017 at the LDS Church, starting at 10:30 am.

The topic this month will be on writing memoirs. Art Boudreault, one of our new members, has taught Memoir Writing at a college level. He will explain how freeing writing is for your own enjoyment.  I hope that idea appeals to some of you who have been hesitating to put your toe in the water to begin your own writingl.

Some people come early to work on their genealogy at the Family History Center.  Bring your writings to share.....haven't written anything?  Start TODAY!

You don't have to stop researching your genealogy to join the Writers Group.  You can be the spouse (or friend) of the researcher in your family.  You don't have to come to every meeting....come when you can.  If you don't write down the stories you have heard or been told in your family.....who will? Not sure how you want to write your story?  We will discuss different possibilities.  You do it your way with as much help as you want.  We will have some pros join us with their ideas.  Come with your ideas.....but COME.
